ABOUT US

My name is Inger Leppäjoki and I live in a quiet place in the forest by the lake Fullhövden with my dogs and cats, 35 km from the city of Halmstad on the west coast of Sweden. My daughter Anna and I are partners in Vallklanen and we are breeders of bearded collie.

When I was young I grew up with german shepherds and my father had a few litters at home. We also had the pleasure to take care of a bearded collie bitch called Braids Cassandra in the mid 1970’s and since then the bearded collie has had a special place in my heart.

In the summer of 2007 I brought home our bearded collie Sally (CH Breaker Choice for Victory) and the year after Wilma (Breaker Dazzling Black Beauty). They are the founding bitches at Vallklanen. We had our first beardie litter in 2010 and have now had the pleasure to see several generations grow up. In 2018 we brought home Lucy (CH Moonflower of Windmill House) from Hungary which led us to continue breeding with a new line.

We like to be active with our dogs and have done activities like obedience, rally obedience, herding, agility and tracking. We enjoy going to dog shows. The most important thing is to have fun together with the dogs.
